How it Works
This revolutionary motion simulation system bombards the senses of the driver, and utilizes G-forces to produce an incredible sensation of speed that your body actually feels and try’s to reacts to. By placing the driver very close to the 42” plasma screen, and blocking out all external visual references, the driver’s equilibrium and sense of balance is manipulated into thinking that he/she is sitting flat on the road, looking forward.
But once the gas pedal is depressed, and the VSCS starts to tilt up, the driver’s physical senses are being overridden by the large display before them, overriding the inner ear’s attempt to register that the body is moving/tilting vertically.
Now add 500 watts of power for engine and environmental noise, and the driver’s senses are pushed past the point of reality, and are now sending signals to the brain reinforcing what the eyes are seeing.
The result is your eyes are telling you that you are flat on the track traveling at a very high rate of speed forward, while your body is telling you that you are laying flat on your back pointing skyward. The brain try’s to equal this difference, resulting in a sensation of forward movement with such speed and acceleration, that your body is being pinned back into your seat.
No other commercial motion simulator can sustain over 2 Gs for the entire length of the ride/experience. The VSCS is a thrill ride that will leave the participant’s heart racing, blood pumping, a giant smile on their face, and the desire to do it again… and again…and again.
